Historical Note
The Frederick Billings (Ship) was a four-masted ship built by Carleton, Norwood & Co. in 1885 in Rockport, ME; it was the largest square-rigged ship built on Penobscot Bay at that time. In July 1893, the ship was destroyed by fire in Iquique, Chile.
