The Lydia Maria Child Letters include two letters written by Lydia Maria Child. The first letter, written in 1837, is addressed to Emily E. Poor and concerns an opportunity as governess with the Hildreth family of Boston. The second letter, written in 1861, is addressed to a Mr. A. F.
