The Salem and New York Express Steamship Company Records include bills of sale, charter agreements, and damage reports for steamships utilized by the company, correspondence with charterers, accounts for the general operation of the company and disbursements, freight lists, and time schedules for the vessels. Also included are early accounts for the steamship William Tibbets.
