 File — Box: 3, Folder: 5

Scope and Content Note

From the Collection:

The Alan L. Bjorkman World War II Scrapbook Collection includes 92 volumes of clippings from various news sources that document the events of World War II via the American news media. The majority of the material focuses on the events that led up to the outbreak of World War II and the following wartime events. The earlier scrapbooks also include articles about the English Royal Family, the United States Congress, and the Sino-Japanese conflict. Bjorkman arranged his scrapbooks chronologically and numbered each volume. This order has been maintained within this collection. Some of the volumes were titled and this information has been included in the finding aid when available. In some instances, the original three-ring binders are included with the loose paper because additional clippings can be found pasted on the inside covers.
