The T. A. Goddard papers contain journals that Goddard kept during some of his voyages to Cape Elizabeth and the Cape of Good Hope on board the bark Armenia and to Cape Town, London, Europe, New York, the Holy Land, and Washington D. C. During his travels to the Holy Land, he appears to have been accompanied by someone named Mary. The collection also includes a letter describing a visit to Philadelphia in 1838. The items have been arranged in chronological order.
