Biographical / Historical

The League of Essex County Wheelmen was a clycling club that began in 1882, in Essex County, Massachussetts. It had a president, vice-president, treasurer, secretary, and commander, who served for one year terms. Additionally, an executive officer from each town or city was appointed. Between 1883 and 1884, there was one female member (Chinn 45-50).
