The Perry Dean Rogers Partners records contain plans, sketches, and blueprints for various commercial, residential, federal, and state projects. The majority of the materials are from projects in Essex County, Massachusetts. Includes 35mm slides, photographs, cellulose acetate negatives. Also includes an inventory of all the projects represented in the collection, which can be found in the external documents section.

Biographical / Historical

Perry Dean Rogers Partners is an architectural firm in Boston, Massachusetts, that was founded in 1923, as Perry Shaw and Hepburn, Architects. The architectural firm has operated under a number of different names over the decades: Perry Shaw Kehoe and Dean, Architects (1947-1952); Perry Shaw Hepburn and Dean, Architects (1952-1965); Perry Dean Hepburn and Stewart (1965-1968); Perry Dean and Stewart (1965-1975); Perry Dean Partners Inc.(1975-1976); Perry Dean Stahl & Rogers Inc.(1976-1982); and Perry Dean Rogers and Partners (1982-present). The firm has always worked on a mix of projects--academic, civic, residential, and commercial ("Office History").
