Financial and Legal Records include documents created during Pingree’s life that relate to running the farm he inherited from his uncle, Thomas Perkins, and deeds documenting purchases of surrounding pastures to expand the farm. There are also booklets outlining the Rules and Orders to be Observed in The Senate of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in which Asa’s name appears on page 41 under the list of members of the Senate of 1843.
