Creator
- Brunor, Martin Anthony, 1901-1983 (Person)
Scope and contents
Side one: Phone conversations with several people (Helena, Chalfont), topics include: paying someone do work for him (Brunor) to help him complete his work; a dream he had where he was a student again; his finances and buying of artifacts for his work; publishing his catalog. Conversation with Dr. Pond(?) about childhood poverty in the U.S.
Side two: Diary, 1965--talking about: his mother's death, brother's medical malpractice lawsuit; finances; love; his mental and physical state; selling a doctor's practice (possibly his brother's). Tape cuts to part of a phone conversation with Chalfont(?). Conversations (possibly recodings) discussing the behavior of women, an advertisement, and the reading of a poem cut into the diary entries. 3/4 of the way through the recording, he begins talking about Rururtu. Then another phone conversation with someone about his book, and hiring someone to help Brunor with the work on his book.
Processor's note: I think that what has been labeled as side two is actually side one.
