Identifier: MSS 943

Scope and Contents

The Dr. John Bryant Negatives Collection contains 146 glass plate negatives and sheet negatives of what appear to be scenes from the east coast of the United States. In instances where the writing was illegible, "unknown" was used, but a copy of the original packaging was kept with the negatives. This collection has been divided into two series.

Series I. Glass Plates contains glass plate negatives. These have been arranged by the location identified on the original packaging. There is one envelope of negatives that was found between glass plates.

Series II. Sheet Negatives contains cellulose nitrate negatives. Copies of the envelopes containing the sheets have been provided for researchers in envelope three.
