Abstract

Collection of five journals kept on board the schooner Cleopatra's Barge II, by Francis B. Crowninshield. Journals include daily observations and activities, photographs, watercolors, sketches, and news clippings of trips around North America and Europe. Also included is the bill of sale, and a crew list.

Abstract

The Dr. John Bryant Negatives Collection contains glass plate negatives and sheet negatives of what appear to be scenes from the east coast of the United States. All titles came from the boxes or envelopes that contained the negatives. In instances where the writing was illegible, "unknown" was used, but a copy of the original packaging was kept with the negatives. This collection has been divided into two series.
