Scope and Content Note From the Collection: This collection contains the papers of Asa Pingree and his wife, Annar Perkins Pingree. There are two volumes of ledgers documenting Pingree’s shoemaking business and other accounts related to running his farm and personal expenses. The collection also consists of loose receipts, legal documents, letters from his son David, a diary, and the inventory of his estate.
