Series II. Other contains items from Middleton residents such as deeds, receipts, indentures, and genealogy notes. This series also contains excerpts copied from church and town records.

Series I. Town Records contains originals and copies of town records. For the purposes of this finding aid, town records refer to records created by or to resentatives of the town regarding town business. These include general records, tax lists, announcements, expenses, correspondence, and school regulations. This series also includes a folder of militia orders.
