This collection contains four journals of voyages Goodell kept while onboard the ship Integrity, and a copy of Commercial Regulations in Java and Madura, translated from Dutch. The first journal documents the Integrity's journey from New York towards India, with stops in Penang and Sumatra, and includes sketches of the local topography; extra pages have been sewn into this book.

The second journal documents a voyage from Canton towards Europe across the Indian Ocean, around the Cape of Good Hope, across the Equator, across the Atlantic Ocean, to the Netherlands then back towards Batavia; this volume also contains sketches of local topography. This volume's pages are very fragile and a number of them have been torn, caution must be exercised when turning the pages. Loose pieces of paper found at the beginning of the journal have been removed to folder 3. Another journal found bewteen the back pages and cover has been removed to folder 4.

The third journal, found inside the second, appears to be a less formal journal then the others in this collection. It contains proverbs, description of sights seen, latitutes and longitudes, calculations, and sketches. This volume is fragile due to past insect damage. The fourth journal documents a voyage from Texel, the Netherlands, to Bavaia, and from Batavia back to Providence, Rhode Island. This journal contains a crew list.
