Abstract

The George Wheatland Papers contains nine diaries written by George Wheatland and a printed memorial sermon given at the Salem North Church in February 1893. The diaries include daily entries dating from April 1824 to February 1893, the month of his death. They contain descriptions of daily life in Salem related to the practice of law, family matters, and the weather.
